First of all I have been with Carrot nearly a year with a black box, when my miles were running low I wanted to top up, they said it would cost £450 for the remaining 5 months. No problem. I called back 2 days later with the idea to top up and they said it would be £675. No chance. They wanted to charge more than £200 extra for calling 2 days later. So it was now cheaper to cancel and re-insure with them, despite the fact I still had to pay a £150 fee to cancel and start with the same company. So a month later I am still waiting for someone to return my call about my new insurance. The communication is poor, the feedback is poor.
