I had some issues with getting my official driving licence through after I passed my test and carrot accepted my paper pass certificate until I received it.
They where very helpful on the phone and left notes on their system about me so if I had to call again they would know exactly what was going on and pick up the conversation from there without explaining my situation too thoroughly over again.
