When I first passed my test Carrot provided the best level of cover for the cheapest price. It was very easy to set up and the man who installed my black box was very efficient. The app is really useful to keep an eye on your score. Generally speed is correct, smoothness is sometimes an annoying measure as you might have to do an emergency break etc however this is only occasionally. Usage is difficult to get a good score to begin with as it is not easy to tell when the best time to make a journey is. After driving to school a few different times I found the right time to get the best score. I did not continue my insurance with Carrot as I was quoted a better price with less telematics. Overall I had no issues with Carrot, I would recommend them to drivers who have just passed their test. Laura Hodkinson was very helpful over the phone.
