I cannot believe Carrot are not at the top of all the Review tables! I had insurance quoted at £2,700 for the year (being 17 and only just passing my test) Carrot quoted me £1,770 but I had to have the 'Black Box' fitted, I was not happy but now really glad I did, there are no penalties/added charges at all. Some of my friends have curfews of 11pm etc with their insurance, I don't! and I earn money back! I have an app on my iphone which tells me how good/bad im doing, ive only had it a couple of weeks and im on target to earn £57 this quarter. Not only is it cheaper, it gives you money back if you drive safely, you can keep an eye on your driving by using the app, I have no curfews and hopefully by being constantly aware of driving safely because of the 'Black Box' I will be a safe driver for ever, even when its been taken out! This is the future of young driver car insurance!
