Having a terrible time. My daughters car broke down 4 days after she was insured. Three weeks later it isn't fixed so she obviously hasn't driven it anywhere. Insure the Box are unwilling to contact the garage to prove we are telling the truth. They have now said her insurance will be cancelled and that she hasn't spoken to them enough. Clearly three times a week doesn't cut it. I have taken legal advice. Just over £1800 to insure my daughter's car - money down the drain. I urge all people treated unfairly to contact the insurance ombudsman.
