I set up my insurance online as I've done for many years later and 1 month later they charge me a default fee on the first payment. Apparently they don't do direct debits anymore and you have to call them to give them your card number even though this isn't stated at any time in the sign up process.
Use another insurer as MCE are not worth the hassle.
