I didn’t get a renewal letter, it’s up to the individual to get another quote, which is a pain as they already have all my data. Been using bike insurance since 1976 and I’ve always had a renewal letter as well as a reminder, apart from here. So I rushed it, and got the renewal date wrong, so I went a day without being insured. I had also spoke to customer service team, who somewhat abruptly told me I need to speak to sales. Decided to go to my downloads to check documentation and the policy schedule was blank. So I phoned customer services, unfortunately, it was sales who answered it and told me I had to phone customer services. Whilst waiting for the transfer, which I wasn’t convinced would happen, I went onto online chat, who assured me my docs would be resent to my download folder.
I actually did the renewal thro go compare, easy and cheap.
So, I’d love to know why we don’t get renewal letters with a new price, which, if it looks ok, you just renew and save all this hassle.... and you don’t miss a day.
