Continuing problems with this company.
Last year they auto renewed policy despite having received cancellation.
It was only when I approached the Financial Services Ombudsman that Octagon actually started to care.
They added breakdown and key cover to my policy despite me declining them both.
They appear on Money Supermarklet.com to be cheap but have high APR for pay monthly and if you miss a payment the fees are rediculous.
The staff are rude and disinterested when you call customer services.
Advise calling them off a recorded works phone as agents have told me direct debit date could, and would be changed, but then they didn't do it, and you're held to account.
By far the single worst company I've ever had the displeasure of having insurance through.
Thankfully I have never had to claim on their two-bit policy, I can only imagine they would be an absolute nightmare to deal with if ever you needed to claim.
