Gecko wanted to confiscate my phone without paying me as it had previously been subject to an insurance claim.
I understand that they have legal obligations, but I found that their customer service was not very reassuring or helpful in resolving the issue. Very much a “computer says no” situation.
I was finally able to get paid (though half of what I was offered) after finding advice elsewhere and fixing the issue.
