It would be helpful if the application for house insurance could be saved part-filled. When you get a question you have to go and find info for, it times out. When you click on link-detatched as a type of housing - this does not carry forward to insurance companies - I tried 3 and all had accepted that as semi-detached (which presumably means I am describing my hoe incorrectly and might affect the premium and insurance validity. I also find it quite intrusive to have to describe my marital status, but accept that this may not be go-compare's fault - it might be required by the insurance companies - if so, why does it translate to 'widowed' when I get through to insurance companies? Are men asked if they are widowed, divorced or single or just women? I ended up filling the application form in multiple times - very frustrating. I did get a very good deal eventually but feel I have paid in a different way - with a whole morning of my time! I would recommend the site on prices found only, not the process.
