The site needs a rework. We tried to get insurance quotes to see how much it would cost for my car WHEN I reached 17. Not possible! The only way to get a price is to lie about your age, the length of time you've owned the car and the time you've had a licence. Ridiculous, really. Everyone needs to know the price of insurance before they actually reach 17. Also, forget the prices shown. When you call up the insurance companies which I did so I could arrange the cover to start from the day I'm actually 17, I couldn't get the same price quoted on the search system, plus they try to sell you a whole load of other extras. Not really a good experience. The ONLY good thing is it saves calling every insurance company individually. Just a very inflexible search system, although in fairness, all the insurance search systems are the same.
