i was very pleased when i had been given a quote from the rac for my car insurance so i decided to change on the quote i was given i went through the full process but when i got to the end i was told it was not acceptable - which meant i had cancelled my other policy on the understanding i had been give a really good quote = i have never had any issues and have been driving for over 40 years so i feel the rac treated me very badly and would not provide any information as to why this had been unorthorised = the only explanation given was it was down to the site which should not have let me get to the payment stage- i will say i was very dissapointed and has caused extreme upset i have no complaints about go compare other than why would i get a really good quote and then find out i shouldnt have got to the payment stage at all
