The search results gave me choices and a lower premium than I was paying last year. But I was surprised as to the number of insurers not prepared to quote at all despite the fact that we are in the lowest risk category for all drivers. So I called one of those well-known insurers not prepared to quote and got a quote direct which was £100 lower than Go Compare's lowest option.
