I was looking for car insurance and my preference is to be dealing with the policy cover insurance company directly rather than via a broker. Unfortunately this comparison site seems to give priority to brokers and where insurance companies appeared in the comparison list have come up with much higher premiums than what actually quote if one goes directly to them. My preference to avoid brokers is due to bad experience in the past in terms of wasting almost endless time when I needed them for claim support and was passed inefficiently from pillar to post.
