My renewal price for car insurance (through the RAC)had a substantial and unjustified hike. Irritated, I decided to see what Gocompare might produce - I haven't time to approah every insurer individually, of course. Go Compare came up with many quotes for exactly the same specification as the RAC, and I chose Liverpool Victoria at about half the price. Good deal, happy bunny, and when I rang the RAC to say I wouldn't renew with them, nobody was in the least interested why a long-term customer (ten years or so) would go elsewhere. Thanks, Go Compare.
