I was looking for a compact spectacle case that's was easy to open & without the spring closure mechanism that in my experience seems to break in a couple of months. I chose a case with a magnetic closure and a flap rather than the usual oyster shape. The case arrived the next day in protective packaging and so far I'm pleased to say that the case is exactly what I was looking for: it's light, fits into my trouser pocket easily, the magnetic closure mechanism is just right, the interior has a softish velour lining and the case is light.
