I purchased 500kg of budget gravel. I was very pleased with the item and the free delivery service and it arrived on the day I had specified which I was impressed with. I was also impressed that I didn't have to be at home to accept the delivery. I had asked for the bag to be left at the rear of my house, however when I arrived back home it was outside my front door. The lorry driver was still there so I grabbed his attention but he wouldn't get out of his cab to speak to me, so just shouted to me through his open window. I asked him if he could take the bag around to the back of the house for me, but he said he couldn't because the forklift was too big. I was disappointed with this as the advertisement on Grassland's website boasted about how they could get to places other companies couldn't. I spent the next 2 hours shovelling the gravel into a bucket and dragging it a bit at a time round to the rear of my house. At least they did kindly leave the bag in a logical place so it could have been much worse if they'd left the bag at the end if my drive. I would use Grasslands again, but I would be more mindful of the service they offer before I purchase bulky items again.
