I was pleased with the general service and helpfulness of staff. However, it was not useful to have the bags of gravel stacked one on top of the other. I understand it is common to split the bag and allow the contents to pour out. In my situation I had 1 man with a barrow emptying the bags and wheeling it round the back of the house. Splitting the bag would have made a mess and led to wastage. Fortunately I had a delivery of other materials from our local builders' merchants and they lifted the bag down for me.
