I was recommended by Age Partnership to use one of their recommended Solicitors and it made the whole transactrion very easy. Having been given a time of 6-8 weeks for completion, it was all arranged in 2 weeks. I was kept updated throughout this period and everything seemed to go through with ease.
I would make one comment. In the letter about gifting when you detail the Nil Rate Band and gfting allowances, you make no mention of Residential NRB, currently £175,000 which can be added to my own £325,000 and the amount transferred from my late husband.
