I agree with the posts below. Definitely a roofer to avoid! I was looking for a roofer to replace my roof and came across Hanson Roofing and Building Ltd running ads in local papers so thought must check them out. Very glad I did as their ads dont give any address. Further researches on company shows address in Leigh that turned out to be just a mail box. Turns out this company trades from a Traveller site in Ingatestone. Based on this checked claims in ads for their insurance backed guarantee for all work. They advertise membership of the HIP scheme to back up their insurance on work but when I contacted HIP to see if company are members was told the company is NOT registered as a member and they were not providing any insurance protection for this company or the director Mark Pickett. Looks like all the 5 star reviews on Google are faked as well and a Google search of other feedback sites shows lots of 1 star feedback. Needless to say I did not use them and have now obtained quotes from roofers who dont use fake claims in their advertising and provide a genuine local trading address. Posted this to warn other consumers to watch out.
