I phoned up to discuss the fact that my son's Froddo boots fell apart. I was told "we will deal with your email when we get to it, and send you a return slip." Basically, zero help with the issue. Next, I ordered some Be Lenka boots as a replacement, they were in stock when I ordered them. But today I got an email saying they are not actually in stock. Really, this is what I was phoning about-- I wanted you to help make sure that I would be able to find a pair of shoes for my son. Frankly, I'm not even sure why you want me to send back a broken pair of boots, I would expect most retailers to refund based on the photo I sent. I've just spoken to Ollipops and they confirm that's what they would do, and what Froddo would expect. I have ordered a replacement pair from them, and will be avoiding your store in the future where possible.
