Upgrading a set of poles from an adjustable (slightly cumbersome) set to a fixed (much lighter and quicker to use) set, is quite a daunting challenge. Thankfully the skill and the experience of the Harrier Trail Running team made this challenge a walk in the park. I was sat between two sizes (110 and 115) and was advised to drop to the lower one first to see how I got on. It was absolutely the right choice and I am now very much in love with my wonderful new Helvellyn PRO Carbon Z-Poles V2.
