Booked a 5 star Holiday to Egypt, transfer was not at the airport. Paid for a taxi to the hotel, hotel staff wouldn’t accept our Hays travel hotel Voucher. After 80 minutes the transfer driver rang the hotel and we were allowed to check into our rooms . My partner was in his wheelchair which was booked as assisted travel. Hays hadn’t put this on the travel agents documents and the airport pickup were in the wrong area. Hence we missed each other . We filed a report in Egypt for the refund of £54 and heard nothing . Customer service at Hays is deplorable, they never accept responsibility for anything . They do like to blame the third parties for errors, yet defend the third parties when it comes to a refund ??
