Trying to ammend my up and coming holiday is becoming too stressful for words ..I've initially booked 2 rooms for a family of 9 but due to personal reasons the room in which 6 was sharing needs to be now 2 seperate rooms of a lower grade with 3 in each. Was first told "yes this is possible it will be an extra £455" on top of the £7000 already paid. I then realised the rooms were not the ones I requested so once again she got back in touch with jet2 only to be told no we dont have the rooms you require. They suggested I speak to the hotel directly which I did who said yes we will happily change but jet2 needs to authorise it first. Back on the phone again to Hays who then speak to jet2 on my behalf to be told yes we will authorise it for the exact rooms you want it will be an extra £1200. This makes no sense whatsoever because the rooms i want are a lower grade than my original room or the ones that she was mistakenly trying to arrange for me the day before. I am now dreading a holiday that should be an exciting time ...I understand I have to pay ammendment fee's however this is extortionate! Also to be messed around being told speak to the hotel personally for the hotel to say it's in Hays/jet2 hands I am left feeling like piggy in the middle and nobody cares whether you enjoy your holiday because we already have your £7000
