These are the only insulated mugs I would even consider. I have purchased many of them and continue to do so. I don't want to hand wash them so I put them in the top rack of my dishwasher. They last about 2 years before the outside powder coat starts to flake off or the hydrographic coating peels off. But none of the insulated mugs are permanent so I just keep buying new ones because they make me happy
