I knew my father had dealt with Hearing Direct before in purchasing a "loud" phone for himself. I knew I had a problem with hearing loss in both ears and decided to visit the website. I took the online hearing test which confirmed this and decided to purchase a HD250 for my right ear as this was the worst for hearing. I didn't really know what to expect from the product, as I had never worn an aid before but at the price I felt there was little to lose. I need not have worried, the HD250 is so small and light to wear, very comfortable and the clarity of sound is amazing. With 4 volume settings, I find it copes with all noise levels extremely well. I only have a problem with "whistling" when fitting the device and this isn't at all annoying. In short, marvellous, I can now hear speech in crowded rooms and have the TV volume on low. I plan to purchase a HD250 for my left ear soon and would recommend Hearing Direct to anyone planning purchasing a hearing aid. The staff are very helpful and you get a first class service, well done.
