I have been researching my family tree for forty years, but could never find my gggrandmothers father , until I joined you newspaper , I just keyed in his name and couldn’t believe what came up, his name was Thomas corthing and he and my gggran were found begging on the streets of Nottingham england , filthy dirty , his wife Charlotte died a vagrant in the workhouse. Of smallpox it was fascinating and at last after reading there story my tree felt complete , I would recommend anyone to look up info in old newspapers the year was 1887 thank you
