My purchase formed part of my husband's 80th. birthday present. He was delighted to have a record of events that had taken place on his 80 birthdays since 1941. He regularly dips into the presentation book to read what was happening on certain days of his life. The volume containing the front pages is most handsome and makes a superb and imaginative gift. We are so pleased with it that we have ordered a similar gift of historic newspapers for our daughter's 50th. birthday.
