The Bluetooth Module V2 works well, with good range. Using an Android phone with a Bluetooth Serial Terminal app, I can communicate with one of my projects connected to the BT unit anywhere in the house.
It is not totally clear from the Description of AT Commands that these commands must NOT be followed by CR LF. For example, if AT CR LF is sent, the command will not be recognised. It is necessary to send just AT. It took me some hours to figure this out.
