This was a very interesting order - a propeller device, a serial EEPROM to accompany it, a 16x2 character LCD display, and a serial converter to simplify the display's interface. The parts arrived beautifully packed, and I put together a minimal propeller circuit on some veroboard.
It worked perfectly! The display worked at first and then stopped, but an email conversation with Hobbytronics' technical support sorted it out, and now I have some promising new technology to explore for future electronic projects.
