RUBBISH Do not even think about getting cover from this company. I moved into a house where the boiler was 2 years old and had premium cover that included a boiler service. Engineer came to service the boiler beginning of december - and stayed 5 mins to inform me that a support collar should have been fitted and this was classed as a fault and therefore he couldn't undertake a service. I had the support collar fitted the same day and then spent a month trying to arrange a service - waiting for my call to be answered for over 30 mins on 3 occasions and then having call dropped. Finally got through after a 50 mins wait only to be transferred to the boiler servicing company they out source to. And yes the call this company dropped within 2 mins. After putting in a call to home emergency assist (a misnomer because no assistance was given) I formally complained by email and had a call back were I was informed that because I had had a service?? There was now a charge of £90 for a second service and this was in the policy. I have looked through the policy and have just to find this information..... I had a similar situation in my old house where the boiler was in housing that new regs stated needed to be bigger and homeserve undertook the second visit at no cost. After my frustration at the time it took to actually speak to someone in this company I certainly would not want to try and contact them in an emergency.
