I was dubious ordering as I didn’t realise still trading as the store in Hull closed down. The quality of the valance thread count I could not find anywhere else so took a chance and glad I did. The store in Hull was the only quality place to shop for everything but the 3 years before closing it was virtually empty of stock. Vast spaces of nothing such a shame. This was the place to shop and in its hay day everyone shopped there. You could buy everything from dinnerware to carpets and sofas. It had fantastic stock of quality glasses glasses to fresh coffee ground on site. Pick a dish and restaurant and a hairdressers. Massive loss to Hull as we do want quality and now shop on line at John Lewis. This shop only went downhill because there was no stock. My only quibble is the delivery service they use HERMES it took so long to arrive, tracked it and seemed to be at depot for days, I have had the same problem with other stores who use HERMES yet Amazon delivery next day and YODEL so you need a better delivery service who deliver and when a parcel is taking to long to arrive you can contact with a person to sort also HERMES do not reply to emails when things go wrong so you need to look at who you use. If only we could have House Of Fraser back in Hull as it originally was the days of Hammonds is solely missed. That’s why NEXT are doing so well no competition.
