I used the House of Fraser website to order a jacket. My partner measured my chest & using the size guide on the H.O.F. website I ordered a 46 inch chest jacket.
The jacket arrived 2 days earlier than expected which I was obviously pleased about until I opened the parcel. The jacket I had been sent was the same size as my 11 year old Grandson’s school blazer.
I had ordered this from the Men’s section using the website’s size guide and was sent a child’s coat.
I attempted to speak to H.O.F. using a live chat but was cut off before I finished explaining the issue because I couldn’t type fast enough so I sent an email asking for a phone number so I could ring to speak to someone but was told customers cannot ring them so I asked if someone could ring me but again they did not value my custom enough to pick up a phone and ring me.
I was told I would have to return this item at my own cost using Royal Mail and was told this was stated in the terms & conditions on the website. I told them you can’t believe everything you read on the website because although I’d shopped in the Men’s section using the website’s size guide I had been sent a child’s jacket so not everything on there is correct.
I have returned the jacket at my expense and this will be the last interaction I have with this company that will not even speak to its customers and whose incompetence will end up hitting those customers in the pocket.
I honestly do not dislike anyone enough to recommend House of Fraser to them.
