I am never using house of Fraser Birmingham again. It's turned into an over priced carboot sale and the customer service dreadful. They charge ridiculous prices to collect in store (it used to be free) and they don't honour any discounts at all for any of their consessions now (they used to) .. the shop has tonnes of old stock out and there are great big spaces where they have nothing to sell.. staff don't give a toss (as one of them told me yesterday) saying management don't care as the lease is up on the building and HOF Birmingham is set to close. I asked to speak to a manager about my purchase (only 14 days for a refund now - and that's over the Christmas period!! - no gift purchases here then..) and he couldn't be bothered to come and see me. I'm upset as I work bang opposite and go to this store nearly every lunch time. Not any more. It is literally being run into the ground and it's sad to see (and worse to experience as a customer). Avoid.
