I ordered crockery. Two parcels arrived with the contents completely smashed. The wrapping was a disgrace. I ordered similar crockery from elsewhere too - as House of Fraser didn’t have the full amount that I required. They arrived in Perfect condition as the packaging was how it should be for fragile items. The crockery from House of Fraser was only bubble wrapped and placed in a black plastic bag! Unbelievable, not even marked fragile. Nothing could have arrived safely wrapped in such a way. I couldn’t believe it and I am absolutely furious. I now have to return the two packages and want a refund but see that I have to pay for the return! It’s simply appalling. I will never buy from House of Fraser again. I have read very recent reviews and I think there is a massive need for them to look at how they look after their customers who order on line and address the process/carrier who is responsible for getting items to their customers in good condition, especially fragile items.
