I purchased these slippers because I have a bad foot. They were identical to the style by Podowell that I have always worn since damanging my foot. I am size UK 7 or European 40. the Podowells were a 40. These 40s however wouldn't even go on my feet. I ordered 41 and they are acceptable but not good. So, I would say, not true to size but well made..
