I sent for a watch I was interested in advertised on the excellent H.S. Johnson website. As promised the well packaged item arrived promptly by Special Delivery the next day. I had also intended to take advantage of the very convenient Klarna ‘pay in 3 monthly instalments interest free’ facility. Regrettably, the watch didn’t quite meet my expectations when viewed ‘in the metal’ so I returned the watch as per the H.S. Johnson returns policy. I subsequently received helpful email correspondence confirming that the returned item had been received from both H.S. Johnson and Klarna. Also assurances from Klarna that my initial payment would be refunded and the 2 additional planned payments cancelled. The refund was made promptly requiring no further action from me. There are obvious difficulties when purchasing a watch, effectively from just a picture/specification. The problems associated with this type of long range purchase, and finance arrangements, can be stressful, particularly when it becomes necessary to return the product. My recent experience with H.S. Johnson has been comprehensively excellent and I would have no hesitation in using their services in the future and/or recommending them to others. Robert Bracey.
