I love the Ioniq 5 which we have had for 5 years. However, almost every interaction with customers service has been poor. It is hard to find contact details beyond chatbot. Call handlers sound uninterested.
The final nail comes when at the end of three years, a number of messages appear in the app to start paying a subscription for Bluelink services. Fine, not great, but I’m willing to pay. I use some of the services such as remote charging control, pre warming the car on leaving work in the winter and SatNav live traffic info.
However, if they are going to charge, make sure it works. The app stops working, it wont let me pay my subscription, and wont link my account to the car.
In itself, a pretty useless service, but unable to get any help from Hyundai, despitee a complaint, after 2 weeks.
