I contacted Joey before Christmas about obtaining a tourist visa, he went through all the options with me and advised the best course of action. After having flown to Edinburugh for a quicker turn around, I recieced my visa within 3 days (despite snow!) and he also he reassured me about some other visa issues. Joey is the most knowledgeable person I've found around Chinese visas so far (including HR employees based in China), no amounts of googling or visa regulation research can replace his invaluable understanding of an extremely complicated process!
