Since my guest room wasn't being used, I decide to turn it into a mini mining hub with an Iceriver AL3 - 15 th/s. The noise was a concern at first but I reduced it with soundproofing panels. I also installed a basic ventilation system to avoid overheating.
So far, home mining has been rewarding. I don't have to rely on third party hosting and I can keep an eye on everything myself. Within weeks, I started making solid returns and now I'm planning to add another miner to scale up.
