I've purchased enough LCDs to know that once in a while you just get a defective screen.
My usual vendor didn't have any LCDs for SM-T878U in stock. Got recommended Injured Gadgets from trusted people, but my first order was a defective LCD screen. Only half was functional, and I didn't get around to the repair for quite a while so ended up just eating the cost. Still might try in the future if I need something.
