I purchased an Ultralight 1 person tent after my partner bought an earlier model last year. We finally managed to use them on the Te Paki Coastal Trail. The first night we set them up in the dark, and they were slower to erect than the freestanding tent we also had. However, it became easier with practice; although care is needed to make sure the inner tend doesn't touch the fly. Both tents coped with heavy thunderstorm rainfall without leaking. The carbon fibre pole was definitely worth the additional weight.
