Completing the TEFL course and Practicum has revitalized my confidence in teaching and tutoring, not only adult learners but young learners as well. In my previous experience (early last decade) online tutoring/ teaching was in its natal stages, since it’s been fully functional, I’ve been worried that the new teaching technologies had outpaced me. After completing the TEFL course, I am confident and excited to participate in this new era of technologically advanced teaching, tutoring and learning. So much so, that I recently interviewed for an EFL teaching position at Three universities in Paris, France and was hired the day of each interview.
