At 60 years old after 40 years of having high stress management jobs I wanted to slow down. So during my.pandemic layoff I took the 11 week TEFL course. It was fun, challenging and rewarding! I then bought a one way ticket to Turkey and never looked back. I have been in Turkey over a year teaching English online with Cambly. I make enough to live very comfortably 5 minutes from the Mediterranean. I can go to the beach on my days off, walk along the sea each evening and travel to Europe easily on a long weekend. Life is amazing if you are gutsy enough to just take that leap of faith!
