My Mum bought a flying lesson for my Dad in October 2020, due to Covid it was understandably postponed. My Dad has since spent a year trying to get this flight, only to be promised a call back when they are up and running again, it never happens! After we lost my Mum, my Dad was keen to do the trip as it was the last thing my Mum bought him. They continued to fob him off, until he was eventually told that the airfield no longer accepts Into the Blue Gift Vouchers but if I emailed (as I booked it for my Mum in my email address, my delivery address but used her debit card) they would refund, no problem at all. To begin with I was offered an alternative flight, the flight cost £149, my Mum had paid £226!! I refused and said I’d like a refund. So then I got an email saying they will only refund £220 and I have to prove beneficiary for my Mums estate and a copy of her death certificate to prove that I’m not money laundering!!!! 😡😡 The airfield have told us that they told into the blue to stop selling these vouchers a long time ago. None of this was our fault that they haven’t provided the service they charged for, BUT, they are making it as difficult as a possible to get my Mum’s money back!! Heartless and ruthless company that clearly couldn’t care less, bear this in mind when looking for gift vouchers!
