I just missed the van, actually passing it in the street as I went out. The driver however used common sense and left the parcel in a safe place and put a card through the letter box. No more nor less than I expected, but at least I didn't have to wait in for a redelivery or traipse 12 miles out to a local depot to collect, so all in all I was happy with the service.
