I ordered 60kg of dog food which arrived in 2 battered boxes and the driver wasn't very happy about having to shift the boxes (2 x 30kg).
If your company agrees to ship goods then you should deliver them in good condition no matter what the weight is and consider if your drivers are able to lift the items. I was led to believe that the Health and Safety weight for lifting is 25kg so there should be provision on your vans for moving heavier items. At the very least provide your drivers with trolleys.
On the up side the delivery did arrive when scheduled and luckily the bags inside the boxes weren't damaged.
