My parcel was collected from the merchant late on Friday. I received an e-mail after 8am on Saturday to say that it would be delivered between 10 and 11am. At 11am I received another e-mail to say that the driver was experiencing a delay. Not a peep from them until I phoned customer services on Monday. When I explained that no card was left and that someone had been in the whole day to receive the parcel they said the driver had run out of cards. I had the delivery rearranged for the Wednesday before 12 and after trying every buzzer in the building except the one on the parcel the driver finally managed to make it to the right door and hand over the parcel. This delivery cost me more than £6 as well. A delivery from another company from much further outside London was free and very efficient.
