I chose to donate to Islamicaid because according to the website the majority, if not all, of my donation goes to needy causes. I am especially pleased that in the current state of Islam getting a bashing because of terrorist attacks Islamicaid helps to show that Islam is about caring, no matter who you are. It would be good if Islamicaid could promote this more to the wider world and make their organisation much more visible and transparent. I donate as much as I feel I can afford, and I am not consistantly hounded by Islamicaid to give more and more, which I can't afford.
