The weekend was excellent. The highlight was obviously Tosca with something magical about being on the shores of a lake on a balmy evening but Lucca was special too. The hotel was in an excellent location, characterful, with friendly and helpful staff. The car transport all arrived when they were meant to with drivers who were polite and informative and took away all the stress that comes from having to arrange taxis etc. The pandemic had meant that the trip had to be rolled over twice but throughout the A la Carte office kept us informed of developments and couldn't hae been more helpful
